Media Day Part 2

When I finally was as calm as I could be that night. I picked up my phone. To check in on my kids. I knew my 14 year old would have a hard time.

As I hang up from talking to my mom. I saw my inbox full of messages.

I received so much love, prayers support. Inivetably, I also received not so kind messages. They triggered me , but I remembered that anyone can be a keyboard warrior now. I moved on from those messages and focoused on all the loved we were receiving.

That was the last time I was on social media for a few months.

One of the many things I have learned thus far is; you never really know anyone. Sometimes the people you think would be there for you, supporting you, and helping you sadly aren't. The people closest to you sometimes are the ones that hurt you the most!

However, I have also seen what a community and true friendship truly is. I was blessed to be part of a worldwide community that took the time to send messages, prayers, and financial help. I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of strangers. I learned that for every person out there that doesn't have the best intentions, there are 100 more that are kind and loving.

I will never be able to thank the people that have stood by my side . I would not have been able to survive this without any of you. Every person has helped immensely. If I

have not thanked you; I apologize but know that I know who stood by me!

Forever grateful to you all!
